This photo was taken 3 years ago when I took a short-trip to one of the most famous highland of Vietnam. When the sun went down in the city, and the sky got darker an darker; I looked up the sky and saw the rainbow appeared. In the middle of the dawn, the rainbow appeared and washed away all my blue and make me felt better.
As the development of the city, new buildings are coming everyday; they create new face of the city and give it a modern-look. The downfall of the urbanisation is most of the buildings looks so boring and ugly. They are mostly in rectangular shape and covered with glasses from top to bottom.
One of the most eye-catching building in Saigon is Bitexco Financial Tower – also know as the tallest building in town. It has a lotus-like shape and if you watched Avengers movie, you’ll find it has very similar design to Stark Tower in that movie (though The Bitexco did exist first then came the movie). The photo is from the glass ceiling of the retailing area of the building. With a very modern pattern to go with the design of the building, it creates a good combination and also a useful function to get the natural light from outside into the building.
regarding the new Weekly Photo Challenge: Pattern
This is the first time ever I join the Weekly Challenge here. For the theme of “from above”, it’s all-time favorite perspective when I take photo. The photo below is my working space at office and what I have at work. I’m working as copywriter & Pr for an e-commerce company in Saigon (or Ho Chi Minh city), Vietnam. I have my beloved macbook, pencil & sticky note to work on my copies; my beat Solo HD to relax and inspire, a tumbler to chill my thirst.
My working space is always the most messy one in the whole office but I love it so much cause it’s show my personalities, my hobbies, my passion. And only From Above can show them all.
Hope you enjoy it!
